Job description
These individuals clean and restore various types of surfaces (e.g. carpets) or building exteriors (chimneys, windows, furnaces, etc.). They also clean vehicles and industrial equipment. They are self-employed or work for specialized cleaning companies.

Main tasks

- Clean pipes, hoses, and filters of boilers and ventilation systems in buildings.
Sandblast Cleaners
- Clean the exterior of buildings, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment.
Vehicle Cleaners
- Clean the interior and exterior of cars, buses, streetcars, and railcars.
Window Cleaners
- Clean the inside or outside of windows and glass surfaces of buildings.
Advancement and mobility
- Experience or additional training lead to supervisory positions.
