Job description

These individuals receive, process, sort, and distribute mail and parcels. They work for:

  • Canada Post
  • Public and private companies that receive and ship parcels.

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature

Main tasks

  • Sort mail according to its destination.
  • Sort and distribute parcels according to their type, weight, and destination.
  • Follow sorting protocols.
  • Place parcels in designated areas for delivery teams.
  • Bundle, label, wrap, and route mail.
  • Route mail and parcels for forwarding.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the work area.
