Job description
These individuals supervise and coordinate the staff responsible for processing and manufacturing rubber and plastic products. They are employed by manufacturers of products made from these materials.

Main tasks
- Supervise, coordinate, and plan the activities of workers responsible for operating rubber and plastic processing and manufacturing machinery.
- Establish work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with other sections.
- Order equipment and supplies.
- Resolve work-related problems and recommend measures to increase productivity.
- Manage staff and ensure their training.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
- Draft reports.
- Adjust machinery and equipment, as required.
