Job description

These individuals operate machines that are used for the production of rubber articles. They are employed in plants that manufacture tires or other articles made from rubber.

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature
  • Equipment, machinery, tools

Main tasks

  • Prepare rubber mixtures.
  • Process rubber by various means (extrusion, moulding, etc.).
  • Inspect and adjust machines.
  • Install moulds, dies, and rollers.
  • Help maintain equipment and tools.

  • Experience leads to supervisory positions.
