Job description

These individuals operate equipment and machinery that debark logs, produce chips, and process wood. They are employed in:

  • Sawmills
  • Wood preparation workshops
  • Pulp, wood processing, and treatment plants
  • Particle board manufacturers

Main tasks

  • Ensure the operation and monitoring of various equipment (conveyors, sanders, dryers, etc.).

  • Assemble and repair plywood panels.
  • Start, stop, and maintain processing machinery.
  • Complete and maintain production reports.
