Job description

These individuals make parts and moulds that produce composite material parts (e.g. fibreglass panels). They are employed by companies in this industry.

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature

  • Fire, steam, hot surfaces

Main tasks

  • Prepare the required equipment according to the task to be performed.
  • Carry the laminating mould to the work area.
  • Apply different lamination techniques (filling, wetting, debubblizing, etc.).
  • Inspect manufactured parts for defects and verify their compliance with specifications and standards.

Advancement and mobility

  • Experience leads to supervisory positions.

Formation

Most training programs are offered in French only.
