Admission management and agreements from childcare services

As a childcare manager, you must fulfill certain obligations for managing admissions through the Childcare Services Registration Portal, managing service agreements, managing the reduced contribution and your administrative responsibilities.

As a facility-based subsidized educational childcare provider, you must use a model agreement prescribed by the Ministère de la Famille. No deviation from the official model is possible.

As a home educational childcare provider or non-subsidized day care centre, you can use a separate agreement template, while ensuring that you comply with legal requirements.

Special agreements for additional services

You must make special agreements for outings organized outside your facility, for example, or when parents request additional services:

• personal hygiene items: supply of specific hygiene products;
• additional meals: snacks or meals served in addition to your basic package;
• additional care periods: extension of regular care hours.

It is your responsibility to have specific agreements signed when a service is offered to the parent.
