Payment of Québec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP) Benefits for a Surrogacy Project

Benefits are paid on Sundays and cover a two calendar week (Sunday to Saturday) period. You can receive your benefits via direct deposit or by cheque.

Payment via Direct Deposit

Your benefits will be deposited into your bank account three to four days after the processing of your payment.

You will not receive notice of the direct deposit by mail. If you have an online file, you can check for the amount and date of a payment.

Direct deposit is safe, practical and fast. You can sign up at any time.

Payment by Cheque

You will receive a cheque by mail; allow for normal Canada Post delivery times.

There may be additional delays on statutory holidays. Sign up for direct deposit to avoid these delays.

Change of Address

If you move, you must provide us with your new address. To do this, go directly to your online file or contact the Centre de service à la clientèle at 1-888-610-7727.

It is critical that we have your up-to-date contact information in order to send you your tax slips and cheques.
