Teachers from Algeria

The evaluation of applications for a teaching licence is performed exclusively by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (MEQ). It is based on the analysis of all of the documents provided by candidates as proof of teacher education received in Algeria and that enabled them to teach there legally (diplomas, transcripts, etc.).

Here is a list of diplomas and documents that may be considered:

• Diplôme (ou grade) de licence in a subject taught in Québec, accompanied by an arrêté (ou décision) de titularisation dans le grade de professeur d’enseignement primaire ou secondaire
• Diplôme (ou grade) de professeur de l’enseignement (fondamental, moyen ou secondaire) in a subject taught in Québec, accompanied by an arrêté (ou décision) de titularisation dans le grade de professeur d’enseignement primaire ou secondaire
