Teachers from Cameroon

The evaluation of applications for a teaching licence is performed exclusively by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (MEQ). It is based on the analysis of all of the documents provided by candidates as proof of teacher education received in Cameroon and that enabled them to teach there legally (diplomas, transcripts, etc.).

Here is a list of diplomas and documents that may be considered:

• Certificat d’aptitude au professorat d’éducation physique et sportive (CAPEPS)
• Diplôme de professeur de l’enseignement secondaire premier grade (DIPES I) in a subject taught in Québec, accompanied by une licence (bachelor) ou d’une maîtrise in the same subject
• Diplôme de professeur de l’enseignement secondaire deuxième grade (DIPES II) in a subject taught in Québec, accompanied by une licence (bachelor) ou d’une maîtrise in the same subject
