Legal framework

The Act Respecting Héma-Québec and the Biovigilance Committee ensures a legal framework for Héma-Québec activities. It includes a chapter (articles 54.1 to 54.12) which provides compensation for victims of a product distributed by Héma-Québec.

The Regulation respecting the conditions for compensation to victims of a Héma-Québec product stipulates elements of the compensation plan, especially eligibility criteria and the terms of a compensation claim.
