Government departments and bodies to notify of a change of address

This list presents the government programs and services which are not handled by the Québec government’s change of address service and which must be notified of a change of address if you are a beneficiary of them.

Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ)

For occupation competency certificates for construction trades

Note : You must notify the Curateur public du Québec of a change of address of a child under tutorship, a tutor, a curator, a mandatary, a member of the tutorship council or an incapacitated person.

Note : To ensure your financial aid payments are not suspended, it is important that you notify Aide financière aux études within 30 days of your moving date.

Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale

For the Québec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP)

For the hunter’s or trapper’s certificate

Note : As a hunter or trapper, you must ensure that your address is up to date in the records kept by the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs.
