Apply for a Certified Copy of letters patent

Anyone can request a certified copy of letters patent for land issued since 1763. Simply complete the Application for a certified copy of letters patent for land form and pay the applicable tariff.  The request should be sent only by mail to the address indicated on the form.

Complete the Application

An amount of $6.45 per certified copy is required. This rate is indexed every year. Payment can only be made by check or money order payable to the “Fonds des registres”.
