List of AIHTS-certified traps recommended but not mandatory

For certain species, the obligation to use only Agreement on International Humane Treatments Standards (AIHTS)-certified traps is not yet in effect. A list of AIHTS-certified traps is recommended in their case. Until the tests are completed, you must prefer these traps. If they become mandatory, the effective date, if applicable, will be known at least three years in advance and will vary from one species to another.
