The information in the central enterprise database has been archived since January 1994, and the database has no legal value.
The central enterprise database is a database created in 1973. This database contains annual reports, incorporation or amendment documents and other microfilmed documents that were on file with the enterprise prior to 1994. This file has been replaced by the enterprise register.
The following items of information are in the file of an enterprise registered in the central enterprise database (FCE).
- Nom de l’entreprise inscrit au fichier central des entreprises le 31 décembre 1993
- Noms antérieurs
- Adresse physique de l’entreprise (siège)
- Autres noms utilisés (noms d’emprunt, marques de commerce, etc.) inscrits au fichier central le 31 décembre 1993

- État juridique au moment de l’archivage au fichier central des entreprises (FCE)
- Date de l’état juridique
- Date de constitution
- Nature des activités
- Établissements au Québec
- Personnes liées, notamment les administrateurs, les principaux actionnaires et les dirigeants
- Liste des documents numérisés
