These individuals supervise and coordinate personnel who carry out forestry operations (wood harvesting, construction of forest roads) or silvicultural work (reforestation, thinning, clearing of plantations, etc.). They work for:
- Tree-felling companies

Main tasks
- Supervise and coordinate personnel involved in logging operations at various work sites.
- Supervise silvicultural operations (e.g. planting and controlling vegetation).
- Plan teamwork schedules with the equipment and transportation required.
- Resolve work-related problems and recommend improvements.
- Educate staff about safety, identify risks, and modify work procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulations in force.
- Draft reports.
- Hire and train staff.
