Job description

These individuals compile, maintain, and process information on staffing, training, labour relations, and performance appraisals. They work in personnel departments in the public and private sectors.

Environment

Main tasks

  • Process and write documentation related to the activities of the personnel department.
  • Maintain and update filing and recording systems.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff and public.
  • Advertise or post vacancies.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of candidates and check references.
  • Administer and score vocational aptitude tests.
  • Assist in the organization of internal and external training.
