These individuals design and produce Internet and Intranet sites. They are self-employed or work in:
- Software development companies
- IT consulting firms
- Advertising, communication, marketing, and web development agencies
- Private and public sector IT services

Main tasks
- Establish, with clients, the requirements of the website to be developed.
- Develop the site’s architecture and determine the software and hardware required.
- Collect and organize the information to be included in the site.
- Design the site’s appearance and data flow.
- Create and experiment with the site’s computer code.
- Prepare models.
- Carry out quality and safety checks.
- Direct and coordinate, if necessary, the development of the graphic models and the site content.
- Investigate and assess, as required, interactive media software.
- Implement solutions to ensure website visibility.
