Land Surveyors
Job description
These individuals collect data on a given space. These data will then be analyzed by Land Surveyors. They are self-employed or in:
- The public service
- Municipal governments
- Surveying expertise offices
- Real estate development, natural resources, engineering, or construction companies
Environment

Main tasks
- Collect data.
- Draw plans and outline constructions.
- Provide elevation, orientation, and size of land or infrastructure.

Formation
Most training programs are offered in French only.

Also required
- Occupational competency certificate issued by the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ [Quebec Construction Commission]) to work on construction sites.
