Job description
These individuals supervise and coordinate various productions (films, shows, music recordings, video games, etc.). They oversee the staging, technical and artistic aspects, and editing.

Main tasks
Motion Picture, Radio, and Television Program Producers
- Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules.
- Hire directors and production staff.
- Supervise all technical staff.
- Determine the guidelines and scope of production.
- Maintain production records.
- Negotiate copyright.
- Submit projects and obtain financing.
- Manage budgets and schedules.
Directors
- Interpret the script and direct the staging.
- Select and direct actors, extras, and technical crew.
- Explain text interpretation and execution to the whole team.
- Direct rehearsals, filming, recording, and performances.
- Discuss with the team and specialists before, during, and after production in order to achieve the desired effect.
Choreographers
- Create dances that communicate a story, an idea, or a mood.
- Conduct rehearsals so that dancers achieve the desired performance.
- Choose the artistic team.
- Produce choreographic works and ensure their follow-up.
Art Directors
- Plan, organize, and direct the artistic component of productions.
- Coordinate set design.
- Selects costumes, furniture, and props as required.
Film Editors
- Edit the visuals of film productions.
- Organize the elements of a film into a sequence that follows the continuity of the action.
Record Producers
- Plan and coordinate the production of original music recordings.
- Direct musicians and singers during rehearsals and recording.
- Direct the technicians in charge of duplication, dubbing, and production.
- Submit projects and obtain financing.
- Manage budgets and schedules.
Directors of Photography
- Coordinate and direct the photography of film productions.
- Supervise camera operators and other team members.
- Choose lighting, lenses, angles, and backdrops to achieve the desired visual effect.
