Job description
These individuals install, assemble, operate, and repair electronic equipment. They work for:
- Radio and television stations
- Broadcast equipment manufacturing companies
- Communication service providers
- Independent television producers

- Controlled ambient temperature
Main tasks
- Ensure the quality of live and recorded broadcasts.
- Produce sound and visual sequences using various equipment.
- Carry out urgent hardware repairs and replace programming in case of signal failure.
- Install, maintain, and repair broadcast equipment and software.
- Adjust and operate the console controls to capture and select emission sources.
- Broadcast programs and commercials on radio or television.
- Supervise other technicians, as required.
