Shoemakers
- Repair soles, heels, and other parts of shoes or boots.
- Repair various products and accessories (belts, luggage, purses, etc.).
- Assess the cost of repairs and collect payment.
Footwear Manufacturers
- Determine the type of footwear to be made and obtain measurements from customers.
- Select patterns, leather, or other materials.
- Select and mount shapes, attach soles, and sew or glue other parts.
- Cut, trim, and finish boots or shoes.
- Assess the cost of custom-made shoes and collect payment.
- Supervise staff, as required.
