Job description
These individuals welcome and accompany the customers to the tables. They coordinate the activities of the food and beverage servers. They work in:
- Restaurants
- Hotel dining rooms

- Golf clubs
- Resorts

Main tasks
- Record customer reservations and assign tables to them.
- Greet customers and accompany them to their table or waiting area.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and deal with complaints.
- Inspect the dining room, service areas, and equipment.
- Provide service assistance during peak periods.
- Collect food and beverage receipts and store receipts in a safe place.
