Construction Managers
Job description
These individuals organize, direct, and evaluate the activities of companies in the construction industry. They work under the direction of a Managing Director or Senior Manager.

Main tasks
- Organize, direct, and evaluate construction projects according to objectives and budget.
- Make budget estimates for construction projects.
- Develop schedules, monitor progress, and draft reports.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with various stakeholders (architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.).
- Ensure quality control.
- Represent the company in various contexts, including collective agreement negotiations.
- Manage the purchase of materials and the acquisition of land.
- Hire staff and supervise the work of subcontractors and junior staff.
