Job description

These individuals carry passengers, staff, and visitors in cars and limousines.

Environment

  • Vehicle or passenger compartment

Main tasks

Taxi and Limousine Drivers

  • Pick up passengers and drive them to their destination.
  • Help people with their luggage and getting in and out of the vehicle.
  • Help passengers with special needs.
  • Cash the payment of the fare according to the price indicated on the taximeter or the one agreed on with the passenger.
  • Record travel information.
  • Collaborate with the dispatch centre.
  • Clean the vehicle, make minor repairs, and have it serviced in a garage.
  • Provide pick-up and delivery services upon request.

Company and Private Drivers

  • Pick up or meet a person on request, by appointment, or according to a schedule.
  • Drive the passenger to the destination.
  • Carry out personal and business errands for the person.
