Through the social assistance and support program Participation sociale, you can build the motivation and confidence needed to engage in a personal project and experience success.
For recipients under the Social Assistance Program, the Social Solidarity Program, the Aim for Employment Program or the Basic Income Program, this step may be a prerequisite for taking part in the Social Assistance and Support Program – Action.

To be eligible, you must receive financial assistance under one of the following programs:

How the Program Works
The program is made up of different activities designed to help you break social isolation, become more active and participate more actively in society.
Several activities are offered to promote your social integration and help you become more active, such as:
Volunteer activities with a community organization
Social or community activities
Artistic or cultural activities
Light physical activities or sports activities
Workshops focusing on motivation and self-esteem
Program Length
The program is offered at a pace adapted to your needs. You may choose between two participation options: 5 hours per week or 10 hours per week.
Financial Assistance
You could receive financial assistance that includes
a support allowance of $86 per month for participation of 10 hours per week
a support allowance of $43 per month for participation of 5 hours per week
reimbursement of transportation or childcare expenses (if applicable to your situation)
