Dental care
To receive free dental care, you must have been receiving Social Assistance or the Social Solidarity Program for at least 12 months without interruption.
On your claim slips, the word "YES" must appear in the "Dental Care" box. If it does not appear, the date on which you will be able to receive this care free of charge is indicated.
You must present your claim slips to the dentist's office.
New! Effective as of August 12, 2021: Temporary program to compensate persons who could not receive certain dental services rendered by a denturist free of charge due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To be eligible for the special benefit for the purchase of dentures, you must have been receiving Social Assistance or the Social Solidarity Program for at least 24 months without interruption.

This form authorizes the purchase or replacement of a denture under certain conditions.
The Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec pays the cost of dental care and the purchase of dentures directly to the dentist or denturologist by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec.
Temporary program for the reimbursement of certain dental services
The purpose of this program is to reimburse to eligible persons the costs paid for certain dental services that could not be rendered free of charge in a timely manner by a denturist due to a service interruption related to the COVID-19 pandemic and to their loss of eligibility for the claim slip.
The program’s target clientele must meet the following criteria:
- Have had a valid claim slip for at least 24 consecutive months, during the period from March 16 to September 1, 2020.
- Have received, between June 1, 2020 and October 26, 2021, one of the following services rendered by a denturist: the manufacture, replacement, repair or re-coating of an acrylic dental prosthesis or the addition of a structure to such prosthesis.

The request for reimbursement must be accompanied by the statement of fees or the invoice describing the professional services rendered, their detailed costs and proof of payment.
