Teachers from Colombia

The evaluation of applications for a teaching licence is performed exclusively by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (MEQ). It is based on the analysis of all of the documents provided by candidates as proof of teacher education received in Colombia and that enabled them to teach there legally (diplomas, transcripts, etc.).

Here is a list of diplomas and documents that may be considered:

• Título de licenciada(o) en educación preescolar
• Título de licenciada(o) en educación basica primaria
• Título de licenciada(o) en educación basica in a subject taught in Québec
• Título de licenciada(o) en educación media in a subject taught in Québec
• Título de licenciada(o) in a subject taught in Québec, accompanied by a título de especialización or de maestría en educación or pedagogía in the subject of the título de licenciada(o)
