Welcoming Afghan refugees
The recent humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan compelled thousands of people to flee their country.
In this context, the Government of Canada established measures and special programs to welcome Afghan refugees. If you have any questions or if you need assistance on this subject, you can write to the following email address: IRCC.SituationAfghanistan.IRCC@cic.gc.ca.
The Gouvernement du Québec is working in collaboration with the federal government to accelerate and facilitate the arrival of Afghan refugees in Québec. They are arriving as Québec government-assisted refugees.
The Gouvernement du Québec has committed to participating in the solidarity effort by welcoming Afghan refugees to its territory.
Participating in the solidarity effort for Afghan refugees

You can also make a donation to the Red Cross, which has established an Afghanistan Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.
