The Curateur public’s role and responsibilities in temporary representation
In temporary representation, the Curateur public’s role and responsibilities are to:
- receive notice of all applications for temporary representation;
- perform the act when appointed as temporary representative;
- intervene in any application for temporary representation submitted to the court;
- receive notice from the temporary representative that the act has been completed;
- maintain the list of authorized temporary representations in its Public register of representation measures;
- receive and process reports regarding the temporary representative’s actions;
- conduct an investigation when deemed necessary;
- receive the rendering of accounts produced by the temporary representative when appointed by the court as the recipient.
