Duration and termination of temporary representation

At its discretion, the court may rule on the amount of time the temporary representative has to perform the act.

If the duration is not indicated in the judgment, the temporary representation will end:

  • once the act is performed by the temporary representative (Notice of performance of the act form (PDF 34 Kb) to be filled out and sent to the represented person and the Curateur public);
  • upon institution of a tutorship for the represented person or for their temporary representative;
  • following the homologation of the represented person’s or the temporary representative’s protection mandate;
  • upon the represented person’s death.

Termination of temporary representation results in the withdrawal of the represented person’s name from the Public registry of representation measures.
