Job description

These individuals coordinate retail staff activities. They work for:

  • Shops
  • Rental agencies
  • Telephone sales companies

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature

Main tasks

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff and cashiers.
  • Assign tasks and set work schedules.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and returns.
  • Hire and train sales staff.
  • Keep an inventory and order goods.
  • Resolve problems related to customer complaints and merchandise shortages.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Sell merchandise to customers as required.
