Main tasks
- Implement and update schedules for classifying, retaining, and purging records.
- File, code, record, and store documents.
- Conduct record inventories and maintain indexes for classification systems.
- Use information retrieval systems to find and retrieve records on demand.
- Label, prepare, and transfer information files according to procedures and schedules.
- Maintain access control lists for classified documents.
- Compile statistics and write reports.
