Job description

These individuals operate and maintain data and document management systems.

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature
  • Nontoxic dust

Main tasks

  • Implement and update schedules for classifying, retaining, and purging records.
  • File, code, record, and store documents.
  • Conduct record inventories and maintain indexes for classification systems.
  • Use information retrieval systems to find and retrieve records on demand.
  • Label, prepare, and transfer information files according to procedures and schedules.
  • Maintain access control lists for classified documents.
  • Compile statistics and write reports.
