Dietary Technicians
Job description
These individuals take part in planning, developing, and coordinating nutrition programs and food services. They ensure the quality control of food, under the supervision of a Nutritionist or Agronomist. They lead activities to raise awareness about proper nutrition and help implement nutrition education programs. They mainly work in health facilities and in the food industry.

- Work with a Dietitian to plan menus, food regimens, and diets.
- Help check the chemical, physical, biochemical, and microbiological properties of food.
- Inform and educate the public about food.
- Help test, develop, market, and promote some food products.
- Collaborate in research on food, nutrition, and food service systems.
- Help supervise employees who prepare and serve food.
