Job description
These individuals manage all the commercial activities and operations of a store. They identify needs in terms of human, financial, and material resources. They plan, organize, supervise, and evaluate marketing strategies. They oversee the development and economic growth of the company. They may be the proprietors of their store.

Main tasks
- Identify the products and services to be sold.
- Set prices and establish purchase policies.
- Negotiate with individuals responsible for the procurement and resale of products.
- Plan the recruitment and training of personnel.
- Evaluate and improve customer service in the store’s departments.
- Plan budgets and track the store’s revenue and expenses.
- Respond to customer requests and complaints.
- Review market research and consumer trends.
