Job description

These individuals produce imposition schemes, which is one of the prepress steps in printing. In this way, the imposition schemes follow the logical order once they are printed or folded into their final format. They work for:

  • Printing services providers
  • Print finishing shops and binderies
  • Packaging manufacturing plants
  • Companies offering reprography services

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature

Main tasks

  • Assess the feasibility of a project.
  • Prepare an estimate of project costs.
  • Set the selling price.
  • Prepare the quote that the company representative will use to finalize the service agreement.

Advancement and mobility

  • Experience and additional training lead to management positions.
