Job description
These individuals assemble pieces of fabric to upholster different types of furniture. They work in furniture re-upholstery workshops or for companies that manufacture:
- Mattresses
- Automative seats
- Upholstered furniture
Environment

Main tasks
- Plan work according to the specifications received.
- Prepare and maintain sewing machines.
- Assemble different pieces of fabric.
- Assess the quality of work (matching parts, seam strength, etc.).
- Correct anomalies and make repairs, as required.

- Experience leads to supervisory positions.

Most training programs are offered in French only.
