Authorizing Someone Else to Act on Your Behalf as the Recipient of a Social Assistance Program
You can appoint someone to act on your behalf or to administer your social assistance program benefits.
Designate someone to act on your behalf
You can give someone a power of attorney to act on your behalf with the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale.
By granting a power of attorney, you are authorizing the Ministère to disclose your personal information to the person who is acting on your behalf. This person will be able to send and receive information and documents concerning you to or from the Ministère.

Appoint an administrator for your benefits
You can designate someone to manage your expenses and social assistance program benefits.
This person, who serves as your administrator, will be responsible for managing your finances, keeping supporting documents and filing a management report when requested by the Ministère.
