Participate in the Investor Program as a financial intermediary
To submit an application to participate as a financial intermediary in the Investor Program, you must meet the following conditions:
Be an authorized trust company or be registered as an investment dealer
Either be authorized to carry out trust company activities, or be registered as an investment dealer for at least the last three years, which is not suspended or subject to a condition or restriction inconsistent with your participation
Have your head office and executive office in Québec, including management and administration responsible for monitoring your annual operating plans and budgets, for at least three years
If the application to participate is submitted by a person who is not employed by the business that is applying to become a financial intermediary, be sure to submit the power of attorney form and sign it in accordance with the instructions below.
Handwritten signatures must be used on all required forms, declarations and documents. The following electronic signatures are also accepted:
a handwritten signature made using a technological tool (e.g., a stylus, touchscreen or mouse);
a digital handwritten signature (e.g., the image of a signature).
Digital signatures (generated using a digital certificate produced with a specialized tool) or typewritten signatures are not accepted.
Upon receipt of this application, a confirmation of receipt will be sent to you by email. If the review of your application confirms that you meet the conditions, you will be required to sign a participation agreement before starting your functions as a financial intermediary.
