Online assessment to obtain an attestation of learning about values
Online assessment to obtain an attestation of learning about values
The assessment is carried out using Moodle, an online learning platform.
The online assessment is part of your application for permanent selection. Once you have submitted your application for permanent selection, you will receive a message containing, among other things, the electronic link to the online assessment and your personal identifier to receive the certificate.
Online assessment process
During the online assessment, you will be asked to answer 20 randomly selected questions.
You will have three hours to complete the assessment.
Once the assessment has been completed, your results will be sent to the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) automatically.
Once obtained, your attestation is valid for two years.
For more information on the online assessment and its procedure, see the information capsule (in French).
You must earn a grade of at least 75% on your assessment to receive the attestation.
If you fail, you have to wait at least two weeks before trying the online assessment again.
If you have a valid study or work permit and you fail the online assessment a second time, you will have to attend an Objectif Intégration information session that is offered only in Québec.
If you do not have a valid study or work permit and you fail the online assessment a second time, you can choose between:
A third a final attempt to pass the online assessment
If you fail the online assessment on your third attempt or if you do not attend the Objective: Integration information session, your application will be rejected.
