Consult the enterprise register free of charge for information about an enterprise, such as

• the Québec Enterprise Number (NEQ)
• the registration status
• the names used
• the addresses of the institutions
• the contact details of officers and directors
• the names of the ultimate beneficiaries

The following search types are available:

• Search for an enterprise
• Search for a natural person using a first and last name
• Search for a natural person using a Québec Enterprise Number (NEQ)

This type of search, which can be done before filing an application for constitution or a registration declaration, allows you to check the enterprise register to see if an enterprise name is already being used.

You can search for an enterprise using the NEQ, the enterprise name or a related name or word. If you don't know the NEQ, or if searching by enterprise name doesn’t yield any results, you can use the advanced search criteria.

This type of search allows you to check if a natural person is linked to one or more enterprises in the enterprise register. This lets you know who you're dealing with.
