Applying for a Québec Perspective Scholarship

Winter 2025 was the last term in which to register for a new program of study eligible for the Québec Perspective Scholarship Program.

In order to continue receiving the Québec Perspective Scholarship from the summer 2025 term until the winter 2029 term, you must continue to pursue your studies in the same eligible program of study. You must also meet the eligibility requirements.

Your application is not renewed automatically. Therefore, you will have to submit an application after each full-time or deemed full-time study term that you successfully complete in your program of study, until you finish it or until you reach the maximum number of eligible study terms.

You must submit your application before the deadline, even if your term ends later or you have not received all of your academic results.

Here are the deadlines for submitting an application:

• Fall term: February 28
• Winter term: July 31
• Summer term: October 31

To complete your application, you will need the following information:

• Your permanent code (comprised of 4 letters and 8 digits)
• Your social insurance number
• The name of your program of study and your educational institution
• Your banking information

You can apply through your Student Financial Assistance File. It will be processed faster.

If you do not have a file and are eligible for the program, you will need to create one. You will need the following information:

• Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• Date of birth
• Email address
