Situations leading to the loss of voluntary deposit protection or the closing of your file
Know the situations in which a debtor loses the protection of voluntary deposit or the closing of the file.
Payment of your debts
The payment in full of one of your debts listed in your voluntary deposit file may lead to the closure of the file for this debt.
Waiving the benefit of voluntary deposit
If you wish, you can always waive the benefit of voluntary deposit. You must then inform the clerk, who will notify your creditors and the bailiff, if applicable.
Loss of the benefit of the protection of voluntary deposit in the event of bankruptcy
If you declare personal bankruptcy and benefit from voluntary deposit, the stay notice from the trustee is not enough to close your file.
