Waiving the benefit of voluntary deposit

If you wish, you can always waive the benefit of voluntary deposit. You must then inform the clerk, who will notify your creditors and the bailiff, if applicable.

Loss of the benefit of the protection of voluntary deposit in the event of bankruptcy

If you declare personal bankruptcy and benefit from voluntary deposit, the stay notice from the trustee is not enough to close your file.

Death of the debtor

The receipt by the clerk of the debtor's death certificate results in the closure of the voluntary deposit file of the deceased.
