In certain areas, super clinics offer a range of services to patients who do not have a family doctor. They meet semi-urgent or simple urgent needs, such as a persistent fever, the flu, an acute sore throat, a urinary tract infection or a cut that needs stitches.
Registering with a family doctor through the Québec Family Doctor Finder (Guichet d'accès à un médecin de famille, GAMF) will enable you to benefit from the Primary Care Access Point (Guichet d'accès à la première ligne, GAP).
