Criminal and Penal Division

The Criminal and Penal Division is one of the divisions of the Court of Québec. It hears:

all criminal proceedings, except
- cases tried before judge and jury, and
- cases under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Superior Court;
all penal proceedings for offences under provincial and federal statutes.
