New electric vehicle fleet
It is possible to obtain financial assistance to acquire several new electric vehicles, although certain conditions must be met.
Acquisition of three or more vehicles
If, during a given fiscal year, you submit a rebate application for three or more new vehicles, you will be considered a vehicle fleet owner.
- Each of your fully electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles must be registered in Québec for a minimum of 36 months.
- If the vehicles are covered by a leasing contract from a dealership, the leasing period of each vehicle must also be at least 36 months.
Submit several applications
There is no limit on the number of applications for financial assistance for a new vehicle that an individual, a business, a municipality, or an organization can submit in a given fiscal year.
However, all the conditions of the program must be met.
Each financial assistance application for each vehicle must be submitted separately.
Registration date
Vehicles registered between February 1 to March 31, 2025—during the temporary suspension of the program—are not be eligible for financial assistance.
It is no longer possible to submit a financial assistance application for a vehicle registered prior to January 1, 2020.
