Requirements for your application to be eligible
To be eligible, your application(s) must comply with the general requirements and the specific requirements for your guarantor class.
The requirements apply to the reception process for undertaking applications for the 2022-2023 period. Requirements for the next reception period will be announced at a later date.
General requirements
- For your submitted application(s) to be eligible for the random draw, if applicable:
- Your application must be fully completed and signed. It must be complete and legible. You must use the up-to-date form from Stage 1 of the undertaking application.
- Your application must be accompanied by the required documents. They must be complete and legible.
- Your application must have been submitted between May 9 and June 6, 2023 on the Arrima platform. You had to submit one application at a time, i.e. only one undertaking form per application.
- The person you wish to sponsor and the family members who accompany that person must not be covered by another undertaking application submitted during the same receiving period.
Requirements for groups of 2 to 5 natural persons
For your submitted application(s) to be eligible for the random draw, if applicable:
- Your group may not submit more than 2 applications.
- Your group must not have submitted an undertaking application that was rejected between May 9, 2021 and May 9, 2023, because you provided any false or misleading information or document in the context of this application, or within five years preceding the review of this application.
- Your group may not include a person:
- Who is a member of another group of 2 to 5 natural persons;
- Who has been part of a group whose undertaking application was rejected between May 9, 2021 and May 9, 2023 due to false or misleading information in the context of this application or within five years preceding the review of this application.
Requirements for legal persons
For your submitted application(s) to be eligible for the random draw:
- You must comply with the maximum number of applications that you may submit depending on your guarantor class or subclass.
- If you submit several applications, they must all be submitted in a single class or subclass.
- You must not have submitted an undertaking application that was rejected between May 9, 2021 and May 9, 2023, because you provided any false or misleading information or document in the context of this application, or within 5 years preceding the review of this application.
Number of applications you may submit
Here is the maximum number of undertaking applications per group of 2 to 5 natural persons or per legal person that you may have submitted between May 9 and June 6, 2023. You must have complied with this maximum number to be eligible for the random draw.
- Groups of 2 to 5 natural persons

- Experienced legal persons (Class E)
20 applications
- Regular legal persons (Class R)
10 applications
- Specific experienced legal persons (subclass ES)
30 applications
- Specific regular legal persons (subclass RS)
