Requirements for your application to be eligible
Suspension of the acceptance of undertaking applications
- The acceptance for undertaking applications under collective sponsorship has been suspended until December 31, 2029;
- Certain exceptions apply (see Ministerial Order, in French only)
- The ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration (MIFI) will continue to examine undertaking applications already submitted. Sponsored refugees who have already been selected by Québec will also be able to continue their immigration process towards permanent residence.
To be eligible, your application(s) must comply with the general and specific requirements that apply to the reception process for undertaking applications.
The standard requirements apply to undertaking applications, while the specific requirements apply to guarantors, i.e., groups of two to five natural persons and legal persons. All requirements are determined by ministerial decision and published in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
