About comparative evaluation

The comparative evaluation of studies taken outside Québec (comparative evaluation) offers a general comparison of two official educational systems. It provides a better understanding of diplomas earned abroad. It identifies the academic benchmarks of training in Québec that can be compared with the studies taken outside of Canada.

The comparative evaluation is an expert opinion. It is issued for information purposes only.

As of September 4, 2025, the Québec field of study is no longer included in comparative evaluations of studies completed outside Québec.

Comparative evaluation is neither a diploma nor the equivalent of a diploma.
