Lease cancellation
Leases may be cancelled under certain conditions.
Holders of leases from the Minister of the Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks may request cancellation, to the extent that all structures mentioned in the lease have been removed from the water property in the domain of the State.
This type of request requires appended photos to show that occupation of the leased area has ceased.
Fill out the Application to grant or modify rights (French) online form and submit the requested documents. An acknowledgement of receipt will be provided once the application has been submitted.
The cancellation application will be reviewed for eligibility. Depending on the case, additional information may be requested.
A decision letter will then be forwarded to the applicant.
No fees apply to lease cancellation applications.
