Obligation of support towards former spouses in a parental union

At the end of the parental union, no matter how long it lasted, the former spouses have no legal obligation to support each other.

Even if you are in financial difficulty and your former parental union spouse earns a substantial income, you’re not entitled to any support payments.

However, both parents have an obligation of child support.
